Well, there are not many Sgorbati that I know in Italy, a few of them in the US.

 

Sooner or later, I'll digitalize an ancient paper that goes back to middle age to the origins of my branch of the Sgorbati family.

 

We live in the city of Piacenza since a few hundred years and my grandfather run a farm near the burg of Grazzano Visconti in the 19th century.

Cà Sgorbati (Cà is shortcut for "Casa" in Italian), the farm name of the 19th century, is still marked on the Italian militar cartography.
